By Alex (Kindergarten)
It’s close to the wolf but smaller. The coyote is a predator.
It has four paws. It has fur, no feathers. It has sixteen claws. It does not have wings, but four legs.
Coyotes are carnivores. Their preys are deer, rabbits, rodents and birds, etc. They work together to catch their preys.
Coyotes’ bellies are never full. The coyote has been described as “the most vocal of all north American mammals.”
The coyote is very powerful. It is powerful because it can hunt animals even bigger (than itself), like deer.
They seem to be really cool animals!
That looks like a real coyote Alex.
